Documentaries have plenty of human stories!
I’ve worked in a hospital, and lord knows I’ve spent enough time in ERs and ORs and treatments rooms. The Pitt gets the crowding and the under-staffing right (note to everyone: do not allow yourself to be taken to Bellevue, even if the ambulance crew gives you a hard sell), but it definitely ramps up the interpersonal stuff. Because it’s tv. And as one of my film school professors once told us, if I want reality, I’ll look out the window.

we signed up for PBS Masterpiece, and watched the 2025 Maigret
I liked the new Maigret and definitely check out the Gold on PBS. Interesting story and waiting for season 2.
