We watched this strange little movie last night.
It was interesting and a little bizarre.

Oh, that is so very much on our list — maybe as soon as Tuesday (cheap movie night: $6 tix), now that I don’t have a gig that night
And only a little over an hour long!
I did enjoy this one.
It was not one of his best.
Oh! I liked that one a lot.
I’d hoped the cast would make up for the plot.
If you tend to hate Wes Anderson, that won’t help.
His stuff is def not my thing.
I like most of it. Same with the Coen brothers.
Coen bros are in a totally different league for me, I love all their stuff.
Started Slow Horses again, given its overall popularity & many of our trusted friends liking it as well. The first time around we didn’t get past the first two episodes, but we’re enjoying it now. Nice to have a few seasons to look forward to
Ya, it’s pretty good especially Sir Gary Oldman, he def steals the show. I’ll eventually start season 3.
Gary Oldman’s the only reason we’re watching.
That’s Sir Gary Oldman to you, pleb..
I don’t believe in nobility, peasant.
I’ve grown really fond of the other characters and Kristin Scott Thomas is excellent as high up in MI-5. Love River, the very quirky IT guy Roddy and Lamb’s very competent assistant Catherine.
Speaking of Slow Horses we watched first two episodes of the Gold on PBS about big brinks heist of gold in the 1980’s in London. Two actors from slow Horses popped up and it was excellent. Also starring Hugh Bonneville.
We just finished watching The Lost Bus on Apple TV. Wow! That was really intense. Matthew McConaughey was excellent as always.
I agree. Now that we are in S2, I really appreciate the entire ensemble. Glad we gave this another go
