Are they not offering a week free? I did the same as you, then signed up, watched all six episodes and then canceled.
Yes, there’s a free trial, but I don’t usually binge shows unless they’re REALLY good. Rebus didn’t do that for me.
I’ve read all the Inspector Rebus books, so I’m a big fan and really enjoyed the series. And it’s Scotland, not Ireland.
Watched first episode of Ink Black Heart on Max. I love Robin and Cormoran Strike- the characters and actors. It’s a well done series.
Watching the second season of The Night Agent on Netflix in Canada.

We started in on the first one, but my PIC wasn’t crazy about the CGI creatures. I thought it was relatively well done, but I am a HUGE fan of the Planet Earth series. Just stunning 
Starting this weekend, if I can find a way to watch.
Oh, yay!!! We’ve been having trouble sneaking into the BBC streaming, so I’m excited to hear this.
The cast of Mrs. McCarthy, Lady Felicia, and Sid are endearing. Later cast and scripts diluted the appeal. Mark Williams can’t carry the show, as formidable as his gift for the character might be, and award-winning scones aren’t enough either. Season 12 just started on BritBox.
Funny you should mention this. I believe we are starting to discover this for ourselves as we watch.
The Agency (showtime, paramount+) was surprisingly hard to get into.
Maybe because I don’t love Michael Fassbender, or they were trying to do much from the beginning without establishing a strong baseline.
Anyway, I’m going to finish it, but I’m curious if anyone else has watched it yet.
If you can get into iPlayer via VPN I will highly recommend Your Fat Friend (Jeanie Finlay, 2023). It will be available after its broadcast on the 29th Jan.

Watched the first episode. It was fine but it’s an American version of the French show Le Bureau and I’ll just stick with the original.
One of my PIC’s favorite movies 
I started it late last night and started nodding off about half way through the first episode so I gave up and went to bed. I’ll report back after I’ve watched a few more episodes.
We have been watching it, as new episodes come out. Not loving it.
