What are you listening to?

Dead south is sorta cool I guess I didn’t really think commercially huge but you’re right.

I’m more for what country was 50 years ago and older.

I’m not saying there’s no good country right now. That being said a lot of what I hear commercially played does sound more like the backdrop to a NASCAR/KKK/trump rally.

It was country from 1975 to 2000 that I did not like with the exception of a few people like George Strait. But later in life I really like stuff done prior to 1975 by Johnny Cash and Hank Sr., Charlie Pride, Patsy Cline and Merle. Sorry for all the links, I just started to trip back in time a bit. LOL!

Maybe I got a thing for steel guitars that developed late in life…

Exactly! LOL!
They did the heartbreak lyrics to a T.

If I had to pick between electricity, TV or music. Electricity would come first of course, but music second. Just something about music that soothes your soul.

One of the all-time greats. Have had the pleasure of seeing them live a few times.
Good listen outside watching the moon in shorts. Beautiful weather in NJ currently.

Saw Santigold live a few years ago in Philly, love her voice and her dancers.
Panic Shack just received a grant to make an album. The Ick was the first song that I’d heard of theirs and I loved it instantly. Kind of like Wet Leg Chaise Longue.

Have always preferred new music, going back to the '70’s. Too many songs are considered classics these days. I have been subjected to listening to classic, '80s, '90s music MY WHOLE LIFE and it has been 50, 40 and 30 years of listening to the same songs. It’s too much. Sorry.
Will check that station out. Love college radio, WFMU, PRB Princeton, PRK Winter Park, and locally 88.9 The X, i have found some great bands via Amazon Playlist, YouTube, and of course, Shazam.
There are some interesting looking videos linked above that I hope to check out. Thanks for posting.
