NPR music dept and Tiny Desk are on my rotation too.
Last night in Chicago.
My friend Michael was there,(tonight too ) but this isnât his video. He was close by.
Opening night of the US/Canada leg.
Did you know that this was written as a bank commercial by Paul Williams?
And yâall are some serious music folks, so this is probably nothing new, but I canât stop watching/listening to these two since I first heard of them a year ago. And to keep it on the food tip, cooking with them in the foreground.
The video is a bit campy but the music in my opinion is phenomenal.
I am sad that the Darkness only had two albums.
Another fav is Lemmy and Motörhead.

Then there is one of my all time favorites Rage. Some of the lyrics will likely offend/shock the more sensitive.
I had tickets for their reunion tour last august at the garden. Sadly a casualty of the pandemic. Also in the time before Morello got full of himself.
Up early and amazingly alert. Going to jump on some paperwork then knock out some cleaningâŠ.with a little help from my friendâŠ
Do you know what Iâm NOT listening to? The American Music Awards that is on TV (ok last night), I flipped by and watched for 2-3 minutes, I couldnât understand what the person (Cardi-B) was saying, not sure it was English and then the dance routine? Iâm no conservative but I donât know how that is allowed in public TV. I really wouldnât want my 3-4-5 year old seeing / watching that âdancing.â I just donât get it! Dam kids these days!!!
Do you know the original by Kirsty MacColl? She wrote that song when she was a kid. She led an interesting musical life.
I love her. Women tend to like her more than men, according to my accidental poll of a bunch of people I know. I think she makes men nervous.
I didnât know that⊠Thanks
