Maputo . Bob James , David Sanborn. Brings back memories of watching the sun go down over the Berkeley Greek theater . Jazz fest 1986 thinking … Was there for a couple days … Joni Mitchell , or Weather Report was next for the evening.

Station to Station was the first time I saw David. I was in basic training when ziggy rolled through town.
The opening act was the Andalusian Dog
film and the lighting was all white light, sort of like being in a K Mart on drugs.
Just life changing.
