The NCAA men’s basketball tournament. It is my favorite sporting event of the year. The turntable is sad and lonely.

Are you an audiophile?

I do love music. I listen to a lot of classical, a fair amount of jazz, and sometimes rock from the late sixties and early seventies and Willy Nelson, Lyle Lovett, and Robert Earl Keen.

Sunday Baroque’s Bach Birthday Bash on NPR. My second favorite way to wake up on a Sunday morning is listening to Baroque, the first is hearing the bird songs. 2" of snow late yesterday is keeping their voices quiet this morning.

I had a ticket for the show in 1990 near Potsdamer Platz and sold it.

Glad I did, as there were sound issues & it was completely overrun with people :scream:

This morning I heard JS Bach’s Cello Suite No. 1 in G Major. I don’t know how I missed not hearing this in all my life.

The clock striking eight bells. When my wife arises, my plan is to put on the first record of the Brandenburgs. For me baroque is ideally suited to early morning, which is turning quickly into mid-morning.
