Made these today. Very simple. Just strawberries in a croissant dough. Someone in my house was happy to eat them.

Lebkuchen spice is added to coarse sugar for sprinkling

Honeycomb einkorn scones with pistachios and rosemary.
I found this interesting recipe in a magazine (no idea which one). This scone was a really nice blend of slightly sweet and savory. The recipe called for hazelnuts, but DH really does not like the flavor of hazelnuts so I swapped for toasted pistachios.

Half the scone dough was frozen for another day. The only weird thing was that of the initial five we baked, one turned into a puddle of mess…the other 4 on the same tray were perfect.

Photo of last weekends scones (above). I froze most of them to be baked off as needed.
