Ooh orange cake is some kind of sign.
My friend is going to visit her kid at college next week and I offered to bake something to send him (bec we had been talking about the care packages I recently sent out) – he was my partner in crime during my orange olive oil cake rabbithole a few years ago – as in, he was the enthusiastic consumer of every one I baked 
I could cop out with other things he loves like chocolate chunk banana bread or brownies, but maybe orange cake is on the cards.
