Wolfbread - here’s a few

Please explain wolfbread. Pan? Recipe? Thank you.

Just what my family calls stuff we make in one of these pans.

Many flavors: corn wolf, blueberry wolf, banana mango wolf, chocolate chip wolf, it’s just for fun for children and grown ups

I made these 3 chocolate biscotti before covid and wanted to post the recipe but it is now behind a paywall at Epiciurious.
The chocolates are cocoa powder, white chocolatechips and regular chocolate chips. I am dunking the broken pieces in my coffee and gifting the rest.

What do you use to cut the biscotti? I’m having trouble with the biscotti breaking.

I struggle when there are nuts in them, but find it easy with a thin sharp knife when there aren’t.

If Ginny is like me, she’s enjoying the imperfect or broken biscotti, that broke in the process of making them or storing them, and gifting the pretty ones.

Theres a recipe on King Arthurs site for Maple Walnut Biscotti that has 2 cups of walnuts and ive never made a biscotti that slices so neat and they are delicious too.

I use the inexpensive Victoronix serrated knife. Can’t live without it.

Weren’t we going to be neighbors in another life? I would help you eat those broken cookies. Just sayin’…

For a chocolate fiend, I made a batch of Supernatural Brownies. This is the second time I’ve made this, first time I had Valrhona bittersweet bars from TJ. Since they no longer sell this, I used Ghiradelli dark … think I preferred the Valrhona. This is the recipe I used but added 1 teaspoon of espresso instant coffee and 2 cups of toasted pecan pieces.

This recipe has good photos but I didn’t melt the chocolate in the microwave:

I waited to cut the squares until the next day. Recipe not difficult.

Cookies baked, dipped, packaged and mailed! Old family recipe for shortbread cookies and new addition of pistachio, orange peel and chocolate shortbread.

Excellent! Will repeat.

I would have had to mash another in to get it to fit. It’s ok, recipient is not particular. I just wanted to put in this nice empty box rather than a ziplock bag!

Confetti Cake from Baking for the Holidays by Sarah Kieffer. This cake is made by reverse creaming. There is a cup of sprinkles in the batter. It was suppose to be enjoyed at my house but birthday boy(10 got cold). My son and I drove up 250km to mid point meeting place to deliver cake, cookies and presents. Daughter said they all thought cake was delicious and very moist. I rather spent the money on gas and have the joy of seeing her than giving the money to the post office.

One of my favorite apple cake recipes is this one - I use butter and regular cream cheese, and more apple than recommended, but it’s really good.
