Hi, everyone. Feeding 3 in the Boston burbs, as usual…
Sat: we usually go out for dinner, but the weekly must-see college football game was oddly timed and so I just cooked. I used up last week’s lazy ragu mess in a lasagna; it was okay, but I’m not sure that I wouldn’t have been better off just tossing the ragu and using doctored jarred sauce instead. Oh well. Everyone was fed.
Sun (tonight): crispy chicken cutlets (NYT recipe for sour cream and onion cutlets, basically, but less onion-y), glazed carrots, and either rolls from the freezer or homemade (experimental) pao de queijo, aka Brazilian cheese bread, depending on how much cooking energy I have.
Mon: Santa Fe chicken over rice
Tues: black bean chili, chips
