Weekly Menu Planning - June 2025

Hello to everyone from the Twin Cities of MN where it is still rather humid but the temps are slowly dropping to not awful. Sump pumps are busy as we have had over 5 inches of rain in 3 days. Getting back in the routine of things after a long weekend in San Diego for a bit of vacation and a family reunion with my In-laws. The girls have requested no tacos or things involving tortillas for the near future. (we ate a lot of tacos)

Tues 24: Fight was actually early getting in from San Diego- just bumpy as F over the Rockies to avoid weather. Drive through Golden Arches for an 11 PM dinner

Weds 25/Thurs 26: Freezer odds and ends as I had a skate board meeting and mr autumm had a work event/Lirrle one had her first band concert with big kiddo skating

Fri 27: Grilled pork tenderloin, mashed potatoes, brocollini which somehow survived 2 weeks in the crisper

Sat 28: Take out pizza before the other 3 walked over to the city fireworks show

Sun 29" Grilled brats, pasta salad, green salads while making little one’s birthday cake - and taking advantage of the very chilled basement to cool the buttercream while frosting

Mon 30: Little one’s 10th birthday! She requested the “cheese meal” Cake. My baby is 10!

Tues 1: Tonight! Teeth day around here. and CSA day. Big kiddo had her braces adjusted and little one had sealants and 3 fillings. Scrambled eggs and toast

Weds 2: Both girls skate. . . not sure what but I’m guessing bok choy will be involved

Happy cooking and eating to All

Oh, happy 10 for the little one! I’d love to know what the “cheese meal” cake is!

Forgot the comma!

Should have been cheese meal, cake. Cheese meal is our term for assorted cheeses and crackers, meats, fruit for dinner (little one Loves cheese!) Cake was vanilla with strawberry buttercream. And tiger inspired stripes. The year her sister requested a rainbow cheesecake was one of my best creations and one I never want to make again- soooo many bowls involved

A running gag around here: Punctuation and modifiers matter: A previous patient of mine fell On the roof (top terrace) not off the roof.
