Way too salty, any quick fix?

That’s an assumption by you, and incorrect. I tried it; it doesn’t work. And it has been disproved in tests.

Because…facts.

And I’ve been doing it all my life and my family and friends would tell you it does.

Because real life.

Really? This is the hill on which to stake your flags?

Is this so important that we want to engage in a war? Use a potato. Use a sponge. Use water. Throw it all out and start again.

Every time I click on this thread I just have to smh

Science is science - even if it is about potatoes. (As a scientist it hurts to see somebody ignoring science completely on a topic)

If I have a pot of something that I’ve inadvertently oversalted (something that hasn’t happened in a long, long time), it isn’t going to disrupt the universe (or even your world) if I try to salvage it with a potato and 15 minutes of time before dumping all my work down the drain.

Ymmv…but it doesn’t make me stupid or uneducated, as much as you’d like to think…or try to tell me…otherwise.

Moderator Note to Thread

Good evening ladies and gentlemen , some of you might notice that housekeeping stopped by this thread and did a little tidying up.

I think we can move on from the potato vs sponge vs adding extra water etc. All angles have been addressed and there is no need to discuss this any further.

Let’s move on from that portion of the conversation and let’s keep things on topic and not about users individually.

Thank you for your anticipated cooperation!
