Updates and running commentary from our critters

Hilarious!

The fawn was running into the spray of the sprinkler and then running right back out. I missed the shot but Mom got into the game as well.
It looked familiar but I cannot remember why…
LOL!

Not recent, but glad I was saved from the attack of the loo roll.

I have to remember to remove the TP from the bathroom whenever I’m making a phone call or on a Zoom meeting, or the dog will do that. For longer calls or meetings, a rawhide chewie distracts him.

I used to go feed and schmooze our son’s cat when he was out of town.
Was always amused by his large sign: ā€œKeep bathroom door CLOSED!ā€

In his defense, he hasnt done it since. I was walking through the bedroom and got distracted by something…when I returned the loo roll had been neutralized.

Was a serious WTH moment, though!

And just now I had to take a support call. I removed the roll from the bathroom. He tried to open the undersink cabinet to find another roll. I had to interrupt the call to stop him.

Welp, yesterday am I returned to my condo building to turn on the heat pump ac - and pray. It started up, but it would take a very long time to cool down the sweat box … so I left to pick up the kitties.

And was in a car accident.

No one was hurt, damage minor, I don’t even recall what kappened - just the bump - but I called the vet after the other driver and I exchanged info and said, I’m not coming today. And I didn’t go today either. Will try tomorrow.

And … I just got a bill from the hospital for the entire amount of my stay. Medicare is pending but hasn’t paid. I wish I knew what I did in a prior life that I’m paying for now. …

Nooooo!!! C’mon, you’ve had to deal with enough! So sorry about the accident. Hopefully the kitties are home tomorrow.

Yeah, and I just got a bill for the entire amount of my hospital stay. Due in 2 weeks. It seems they aren’t waiting for Medicare to cough up its amount.

See, my guy is great about bathing. I take him outside, start the hose, dump some shampoo all along his back, get him lathered up, and spray it all off. Beautiful dog, that Comet.

That is usual for hospital stays - it always takes awhile for insurance companies/primary billed institutions to go through medical claims to pay the hospital. There were MANY ā€œbillsā€ or EOBs I ignored until I got an actual notice of my co-pays being due. If the hospital has a portal, check there. Also, call the hospital billing department and maybe ask how long, on average, it takes for Medicare to make payments prior to the patient’s payments being due.
