Updates and running commentary from our critters

Oh no :cry: My deepest condolences for your heartbreaking loss :broken_heart:
I’m sure it was a difficult decision, but you did the most humane thing for your precious baby. He was very lucky to have such loving parents. Just think of all the great times you had together. At least you were able to come home and spend some time with him, and give him a proper goodbye.

I cry for all of our furry buddies who have gone before us. But I can only hope they’ll all be there to greet us when it is their human’s turn to leave this earth. {{{Hugs}}}

I’m so sad for you! The Chonkster was so lucky to have such brave, loving parents! He lived his best life with you, please remember that even though you have a cat-shaped hole in your hearts right now. :heart:

Thank you so very much for sharing the life and times of your fur boy. Our hearts are broken💔. He’s ‘gone’ but not forgotten. Peace be with you as you get through this and heal.

Yes, indeed.

Very sad days for you, I’m sure. Hoping the issues resolve with minimal pain. Kill that worm/fungus.

Only a year old. Now I could cry with you. :disappointed_relieved:

So sorry for your loss. Hope you’re okay, or as okay as anyone would be, given the circumstances. That’s the worst day.

“Yeah, I’m on the table. Wanna make something of it?”

Apparently, a second later she leapt off the table, scaring Mama Cat on the chair in the process.

They didn’t want to miss out on what looks to be a lovely holiday meal! I’m sure the delicious aromas coming from your kitchen enticed them further. Beautiful table set up, I really like the antique goblets.

The goblets are reproductions! Etched. The goblets were from Williams-Sonoma, I think, and the flutes were from Anthropologie. I guess I had a thing over the years for etched glasses.

I am drawn to etched, antique looking or actual glassware myself. Very pretty and not too big.

More etched - wee German wine glasses. Like little Michelin Men …

Very nice! I like the green plates too, can’t remember what they’re called, I have a couple of serving pieces - a large round platter and a rectangular one. It’s fun to set a nice table for special dinners. Just now happened to notice your Seder set up - looks very attractive!

Bordallo Pinheiro. I think Chuck Williams introduced them to American shoppers a long time ago. I think they’re great for a Seder - or an Easter dinner! This was the last Seder I did before the pandemic. I’m hoping this year I can do one again. And Thanksgiving.
