I was downstairs this morning, enjoying my coffee and reading, when a Certain Someone decided to request my presence UPSTAIRS NOW. Let’s just say that the stairway acoustics are LOUD.
Well, he’s in isolation per vet instructions and getting oral meds… I suit up in an isolation gown 2x day and give him his meds and food and clean his box and then sit with him on my lap. Unfortunately, my old girl now has tested positive too (they always sleep together in the same cat bed. Vet says to keep them separated because her positive PCR test from fur may just be from her picking up spores. She is impossible to medicate. I can’t bathe either one because I have no help (I tried to get some, or a groomer) so I’m wiping the boy down with anti-fungal wipes. Girl has no lesions. Hie protocol is 7 days of oral meds on, 7 days off - she gets 7 days on then 2x week.

Second that. Speedy recovery for your fur babies
If I put a hat on my cats I would either find poo in my shoes or they’d suffocate me in my sleep.
They have a shaded screened porch to hang out on…

Laszlo’s under the covers in our bed. Insane.
Cats are so weird.
