My poor little kitty guy has gnawed/scratched licked a raw spot on his chest. He got a steroid shot for this a month ago, but steroids are problematic to administer long term. My first ever cat had to have them, and she developed diabetes as a result. Ask me about testing and insulin before the age of glucometers. So, we’ll call the vet tomorrow.
Someone was cold today and let me know it.
(This Polartec blanket is usually folded in half at the foot of the bed. )
Sometimes, the cat totally bypasses Stage 2.
the contrast of the black pads on the white paws and…the smile.
Our dog, Hopps, licked a spot raw. Now he gets a monthly cytapoint injection and Zenrelua daily. I do not know if those are cat friendly or not, but they work for him.
The first summer day after an overall frosty April prompted us to do some much needed yard work. The chonk demanded to join us.
How could I not put up his catio?
What a pity that he suffers so.
HH pretty much runs our household
I need one of those! Is this a pet or child 'cage or er, enclosure?
He’s getting food allergy prescription cat food (hydrolyzed protein) and a daily transdermal antihistamine next - they’re being shipped. We will be doing all ear flaps all day - my girl already gets 2 meds transdermally every day. If this doesn’t work next stop is a dermatologist. He’s finally asleep.
And the girl was helping with the laundry, which meant sleeping on the job …
There’s a lot of them out there, for cats and dogs of all sizes. We got one of these (I’m almost positive that was a covid purchase ).

He really loves it bc he likes to be near us & can get closer to his BF, the chipmunk he likes to stalk
Check your pets. Luckily I found this nymph tick before it attached to my pupper.
It was about the size of a sesame seed.
Awwww. Lookit that adorable face!!!
‘Tis the season again.
During tick time, we fill one of those little lidded plastic condiment cups with gifted booze that we won’t drink. This year the ticks are getting Jägermeister after they’re pulled out of the pup’s fur. Don’t want to mess with tick-borne diseases, and we’re repurposing what we have.
Love Biscuit’s Easter look!! What a sweetie!
