Ohhh, so tough to hear! Hopefully she adjusts quickly to where things are in your home so she can get around more easily.
Sorry to hear this, but you’d be amazed at how animals can adjust to loss of hearing, eyesight… even loss of a limb. They adjust far better than we humans, at least.
Good luck to all of you
Oh my. Take good care of your dear pup. Let us know how she’s doing.
A dear friend of mine has experienced this. Her sweetie has made some adaptations, even goes on limited hiking trips (!) with them, but it isn’t the same. They are totally dedicated to her quality of life right now. I hope for the best for you.
Thank you, everyone. This came out of nowhere for our girl and when she had her yearly exam, in October, she was considered in excellent shape, as was her brother. As shocking as this is, I know we’ll all adapt.
Happy birthday Hopps. Don’t wear yourself out partying….
Sweet! Did he bring those slippers to you?
Monkey boy feeling snoggly last night. He doesn’t ‘do’ laps, so leaning against my legs or curling up next to them is about as close as it gets
Awww. Adorbz!
He’s the second cat I’ve had who sleeps in a “human” position when with a human.
Sadly, no. Those are my wife’s parked shoes. The only things Hopps ever brings me are slobber and hope for food.
Happy birthday to handsome Hopps! What a gorgeous coat he has.
“But mom, it’s more interesting OUT THERE!”
