Same here. And her aim is flawless.
Iām sorry.
I still have a stash of Bissell stomp and go pads to deal with the fact that she hit a scatter rug.
My cat almost never has thrown up, rarely hairballs.
Sheās 8, gets 2 meals daily of cut up roasted chicken, I add a little spring water and once a day ¼ teaspoon of Taurine. Before I fed raw. My 2 late Abbys only ate raw chicken, I never saw them drink water unless they were sick.
Same with this Tonkinese, never see her drink water.
Cats that eat dry food crave water.
Awww, poor girl. Are you going to keep her on the meds?
I hate you (for still having them!) (j/k on the hate!) And I hate Bissell for not making them anymore. Those things were PERFECT for getting cat puke stains out of beige carpeting!
Chonk gets both. And he loves his water.
I know!! Why did they stop making them???
I think if he stopped getting dry food and only ate raw or cooked chicken, you wouldnāt see him drink water.
I think there is an explanation on catnutrition.org.
Heās never shown any interest in people food & is perfectly happy with the wet & dry food he gets.
My duo gets premium wet 2x day and I leave kibble out for grazing/snacking/munchies. They donāt drink much water, but fresh is out all the time. None of my cats has been seriously interested in people food, with the exception of carrot cake, tomatoes ripening in the counter, and cantaloupe. Go figure.
My daughter had a big black cat that would beg for cantaloupe, loved it.
Iāve had 2 that loved cantaloupe!
Canteloupe is a common. Iāve had several cats interested in it. Also watermelon. One was fond of Comet (the powdered cleanser) scented sponges and deer pellets. Owen, the current chat du jour, prefers pureed chicken livers ( no more than once a week), his daily 1/4 can of Little Friskies mixed with a bit warm water and 1/4 cup of mixed Blue brand crunchies. If he stuck to this regimen, heād be much slimmer. The roomate will refill the crunchies if he āthinks the bowl is lowā, constantly. His water bowls are in the bathtub and next to his food in the laundry room. Someone in our house keeps encouraging him to take his water at the kitchen sink. No thank you.
We hadva bobcat trek through our property this morning! Quite a surprise, it was just so beautiful. Even more reason for Owen to be supervised at all times; he does not go out alone anymore. It was -13° this morning. He likes snoozing in front of the gas āwood burningā stove.
Weāre going through some difficulty with our female mini schnauzer. Over the course of just a few days, she has gone blind. The vet diagnosed her with sudden acquired retinal degeneration syndrome, or SARDS. I had never heard of this before now. Weāre all shocked and it has come on so quickly that the poor pup doesnāt understand whatās going on. Weāre getting a referral to an animal opthalmologist, but all of the reading Iāve done says itās irreversible. Apparently, dogs do quite all right after they get used to not seeing, but right now, she is trying to adjust and so are we.
Hereās some more information on SARDS:
So sad for you.
So sorry to read this. Best wishes to you and your pup.
