Our current setter, Hopps, seems a bit confused by yesterday’s unexplained appearance of a tree in the room. I need to find that old photo of a prior setter, Opal, on Santa’s lap.
Thank goodness our critters are cute to the max. Chonk did not present his finest side on our car trip back home — first he was drooling like he’s trying to impersonate the Niagara Falls for 45 min, then he surprised us with a stinky gift (or four) in his carrier
He’s pretty happy to be back home & was adorable this morning. All’s forgotten
I’m working on my laptop in the dining room. Murphy has been keeping me company the entire morning. Finn was on the other chair - but all he was presenting was his butt.
They do that. All the time. Because they can.
Someone does indeed love being close to me, but this right here is more about expressing displeasure with the 9F temp this morning. The colder it gets, the more likely I am to wake up with him on my leg.
Our late cat, The Dude, loved to sleep on top of me. He started off on my thighs, then would sleep on my lower back. We also spooned a lot. He was such a love bug
I love it when they cross their paws over their noses to keep it warm. The Dude was a good egg.
My bedroom is cold right now - and there’s nothing I can do about it. Except throw myself on the mercy of the felines. Both joined me last night — voluntarily — and they didn’t even try to kill each other for fun and games. Did I mention it’s damned cold?
Hate to reply to myself, but here is the warming crew. My girl refused to turn towards the camera, so it’s just Ol’ Blue Eyes (hers are blue, too)
Oh that face of wonder!
Is there a hidden charging port there?
He is charged by attention!
Mine did that all the time. They are, after all, heat-seeking missiles.
You know that’s a trap to reel you in …
Great name and so fitting!
