Exactly that. Tongue bleps are also good. My late Alfalfa was a champion blepper because he was always grooming his brother and then his stepbrother and then “got stuck”. ![]()
Oh, I am living this right now!
Oh no–Laszlo! He was such a sweet boy. My condolences to you and Mr. H.
Thank you. The apartment feels very quiet.
Saw this today after being trapped under my blankets and comforter early this morning when I awoke to 28° temps. Both Finnegan and Murphy were on either side of my feet…leaving me maybe…maybe a foot and a half for my legs and feet. In a queen-sized bed. ![]()
No time to prepare. I was just home from the hospital, still with round the clock aides, and I was asleep in my bedroom My cat lady had come in that night as usual to take care of my 2 cats. She noticed the girl was having difficulty breathing and sat with her until she passed. Taking her to the emergency room wouldn’t have saved her. The 2 ladies decided not to wake me, but the aide taped a note to my nightstand to call the cat lady when I woke up. The kitty was wrapped and in her bed in another room. The cat lady came back and took her to the vet so she could be cremated. I had thought she was declining, and was going to ask that she should be put to sleep, but the old girl beat me to it. It was very much like her. She was a cat who was used to getting her own way, of course.
What a difficult situation that must have been for you - navigating your own health issues along with those of your cats. It does seem like a blessing that your cat departed relatively peacefully, at home. I hope things are going well for you now.
Thank you. Things are going well right now, but of course I see my cardiologist at the end of this week
. My young male cat had bonded incredibly quickly with the old girl; he won’t go into the cat condo they used to snuggle in since she died. He really needs a sibling, he’s not even 2 years old.
The breeder sent us a few more photos of our now 10 week old baby
Only a week and a half more to go before he comes home ![]()
He’s gorgeous!
…
This made me smile today.

The other ass clown tried to bite his butt to encourage a wrassling match, but I shushed him away ![]()
Finnegan likes his Sunday afternoon lap nap time under the blankie on my lap. But dayam, my legs get stiff not being able to move them!
I swear they do that on purpose …
That pup looks like he knows he has an important job!
I have no photo of the dastardly deed …
Last night, Ziggy ate my baked potato. When I yelled NO that’s MY potato, he just looked up, started at me, and licked his lips. Over and over. Slowly.
A lil ditty.
Ok. I can’t believe this.
I have a stuffed bear footstool and a 9 pound Ziggy the Cat.
Footstool. It’s big enough to sit on. It stays in the living room. Note for later it has a tag on its leg.
I got up this morning, made coffee, and went back to bed with my cup to read. When I got up again to take my empty cup back to the kitchen, this was blocking my path:
Please excuse the mess of undiscarded medical supplies.
How did the bear get into the bedroom? I think Ziggy outdid himself bringing me his toys. He likes big ones, but this surpasses even Mr Snake in size and weight. I guess he tugged it by the tag. He’s not talking …
That is adorable! ![]()
