Unusual Breakfast Foods

While I was studying in Spain, a popular breakfast was an English muffin topped with extra virgin olive oil. My fellow American students would gape at me while I had that almost every morning while they were content with their churros & thick pudding-like hot chocolate. (Delicious too - but way to sweet for me at 7 am)

I don’t know about its hangover efficacy, but I do know that after eating menudo I am suffused with an almost metaphysical sense of physical well-being.

Typical in some regions, but unusual for me, cornbread and buttermilk.
