I’ve had egg bites once in my life (trois petits cochons) and was horrified to discover I really, really didn’t like them. As in I’d almost rather starve to death. Maybe I’ll try TJ’s if I’m feeling in the mood.
Was it the texture? I could see that being offputting to some people.
YEA to both the gochujang and the white miso (currently out of stock). I actually like the small sizes, fit my travel/transport needs well.
They’ve now got gochujang “sauce” as well aka ssam sauce, pourable for direct use. Might have to get some for bibimbap.
(Now if only they could make their soy sauce real.)
Yea for Meyer Lemon Cookie Thins. Have seen these for years but didn’t think a thin crisp cookie would hit the spot. I was wrong. Unfortunately it’s too easy to eat a lot of these.
that’s so true for so many of tj’s cookies. for met it’s the belgian butter waffle cookies. once i open the box, it’s all over.
We have an egg bite maker that my wife uses all the time. You may like a homemade version.
And you can get Instant pot moulds to make them on Amazon.
Did you try the regular ube cookies, also a new item? I haven’t. I taste coconut, which I love, in the ube Joe-Joes. Perhaps it’s one of the “natural ingredients” on the label? I don’t know that I’ve ever tasted ube before. The lavender coating may be gilding the lily, but it IS pretty.

Just a reminder that the convention on this thread has been to type YEA(YAY), NAY, or MEH at the start of your post, to facilitate more efficient browsing of a long thread. Cheers!
NAY to the brown rice and lentil spaghetti (gluten-free). We had it for dinner last night and my insides are still upset with me. Not sure why, as we generally eat a good amount of beans/lentils. I’ll stick with Barilla GF pasta.
YAY for the coffee version of those. Ask me how I know (all gone). The brownie ice cream sammiches with coffee ice cream are a YAY, too, but I like the cones better.

Didn’t know about the regular ube cookies, so I’ll have to get a box the next time I’m at TJ’s.
My bad. I deleted my comment.
Not TJs related, but the Jovial line is really good.
YAY to the Mountains of the Moon Small batch coffee from Uganda. Fruity aromas that I don’t typically associate with a medium or darker roasted coffee. Tastes as good as it smells! I bought an extra bag cause we know what happens to things we like. . .
YAY to the Hot honey. which was missing during my trip yesterday, but the helpful crew member said it is being repackaged and the 8 oz container will become a 12oz container in the next week or 2.
BOO that I couldn’t find the dark chocolate covered candied ginger, but I didn’t ask cause I really don’t need the carbs Bought the -
MEH dark chocolate covered cherries. They will address chocolate needs without the enthusiasm to eat the whole pack. What I refer to as “diet chocolate”
Ha, I absolutely love the dark chocolate covered cherries. Different strokes!
Meh to the Peanut Butter Brookie.
Saltier than necessary, and not enough peanut butter.
Then again, I should have known better, as TJ’s peanut butter is rubbish.
In other news, I’d like to hear more opinions about the ube pretzels.
I was addicted to these ube pillows (that was their term) in Jakarta, so it’s rad to
see the flavor appear on the shelf in this nape of the woods.
I tried them based on your recommendation. So good.
You needn’t have removed your comment. Mine was just a general reminder, since a number of posts mention but don’t actually evaluate TJ’s products.
