Nay - Bowing to the bleating mob and changing their pet names for ethnic inspired ingredients.
I’m not surprised mind you, but “NAY” nonetheless.
Disappointing.
I always thought the “other” names were supposed to be an “average Joe” name in other countries, but maybe I was wrong.
Yes, I know what TJ’s is, and I was STILL “bored and confused” by this four minutes of my life that I wasted before pulling the plug on this useless girl’s video. She “never feels like cooking”. No kidding, cookie; the Fu Manchu wannabe fingernails tell all you need to know about her.
Yikes, harsh. Not a fan of the youngins, eh?
Their coconut aminos are much lower in price versus the brand avail at ShopRite. Used in place of soy sauce, pretty decent.
2 yeas: yuzu hot sauce and marshmallows.
The hot sauce is not too spicy, and has a good balance of acidity and salt. The marshmallows are a little bit denser than conventional, but have a richer flavor.
Quoting myself to note that TJs has apparently reversed that decision so “Yay”.
According to them, it wasn’t a reversal. They never changed anything to begin with.
I’d read they were already phasing some of those names out.
just tried sparkling black tea with peach juice beverage:
yay for flavor, but not at $3.99 for 4 8-ounce cans. a bit spendy for anything other than a nice little treat.
I think it would’ve been great if it weren’t carbonated.
Yea for the Grand Slam. It’s everything Cracker Jack wishes it could be: not stale, thick caramel coating on the popcorn, and several different types of nuts rather than just peanuts.
i actually like the bubbles, and the aggressive peach flavor. for me, it’s just not worth the $1 per 8-ounce can price tag.
I liked the flavor too but not the sparkling part. It’s TEA!!!
My husband brought home a box of peaches from TJ. I was skeptical, as their produce runs the gamut. They were green, so I waited a couple of days and tried one. Awesome flavor, and they weren’t the damn clings that Sprouts has been carrying. I put a small fan on the rest of the box and ate several, they got a little shriveled, but the flavor got more and more concentrated, overall a wonderful purchase. I know that it’s different in different areas, but i had to praise that box of peaches. We also usually get a basil plant just for the heck of it, and they usually wind up being resistant to bad weather (it’s been way over 105 all damn week here, and none of our usual rain), and have one that’s at least five years old and still kicking.
The most recent, and kind of baffling, product shortage at local TJs is smoked salmon. They’re down to two varieties, from around seven, and the one I like best (the cheapest) is missing. What could explain this?
More people breakfasting at home?
There’s plenty of bacon, eggs and sausage, though.
