Good location choice!
I didn’t realize there were two threads; maybe more.

It’s almost time! Season 22 starts March 13th.
I hope it’s better than last season.
You’ve probably already said, so feel free to send me there, but anything in particular you would like to see more of or less of?
Found it!
My favorite line from this recap article: “…while, [chef], ends up haphazardly throwing elements over [his/her] dishes at the final buzzer like [he’s/she’s] feeding pigeons rather than judges.”
I completely forgot that this was on, so thank goodness for my tv reminders. After so many seasons, you would think that realizing the time management element is perhaps the biggest challenge to get used to in order to have success on this show, and it still gets so many of the contestants in the first few challenges.
Also the “risotto trap”.
I enjoyed this first episode.
I like Kirsten better than Padma. Much better.
It’s really amazing that there has now been 22 seasons of Top Chef (not to mention all the spin-offs).
Nearly 20 years of basically a Survivor meets Iron Chef.
Good for them.
+1 for Kristen, she just comes across really well.
I cannot bear the commercials for the other Bravo shows, but can tolerate the segments with the past Top Chef contestants, and who I think might be contestants from other shows.
I noticed she says “are we still in agreement?” and looks at the other judges rather than the old way with Tom looking at and saying “…Padma?”
