I’d probably do the ramen chip dog (or maybe the volcano with ramen chip coating, if that is available), with cheddar cheese powder and spicy mayo (or parmesan and wasabi mayo). Side of mac and cheese bites.
Hot hamburger sandwich is a sandwich, with a hamburger patty on white bread, topped with beef gravy, served with mashed potatoes or French fries. It’s a saucy sandwich that is eaten with a fork and knife.
It’s often open-faced, but sometimes it isn’t. Gravy is poured on top, whether the hamburger is covered by a slice of bread or not.
It tends to be seen more in diners and old-fashioned family restaurants.
I went with a cheeseburger, topped with tomato, lettuce, pickles, as well as extra crispy fries today (cooked longer by request)
It hit the spot. My friend treated. I didn’t pull out my smartphone to take a photo.
I was craving a hot turkey sandwich, another hot open faced sandwich covered in gravy. I’m roasting goose tomorrow, so I will save the hot turkey for my next visit.
The coating is often chewier.
I’ve only ordered 2 so far, over the past 2 years. So I’m averaging one a year. I probably eat 8 hot dogs a year in total.
I like them.
