I feel the same way — save for the Italian/Spanish kind, but it’s rare that I have any. They don’t hold much appeal for me.

That said, while I doubt you’ll be “booted off,” it’s generally considered bad form to show up in a thread about any particular food people love and poo-poo it

Apropos:

Is that all of them? Or are there any particular brands you particularly dislike? Or any particular flavours you don’t like?

I really dislike sour cream and onion, and anything containing chili (I have no tolerance to heat). In any case, I’ve gone off deep-fried foods; it’s not a health-conscious thing, I just dislike the greasy feeling.

I know I will be savaged for this:

I like Pringles. I never buy them because I have zero self
control and could easily finish a can while watching a movie and then regret it for at least a few days afterwards.

I am a sucker for sour cream and onion anything. I deeply dislike BBQ or “Flamin’ Hot”/ Super spicy

Lays has a ‘Funyuns’ flavored chip that I like even better than sour cream and onion.

Apparently, I prefer potato chips very thin and crispy, corn chips thicker and crunchier, and cheese puffs light and airy (I.e. pirate booty)

I’m not a fan of most flavored chips either. And the thinner ones, like original Lays and Wise have that greasy feeling to me.
Kettle style are thicker cut and taste more like potato–they are crunchy rather than crisp and not nearly as greasy.
So, yeah, I understand where you’re coming from here.

I like the TJ’s version, which has all the “pressed mashed potatoes” goodness without the weird Crisco mouthfeel.

Noted!!

They’re called “Sea Salted Saddles,” which is very silly.

You can get them in little individual snack packs … ask me how I know. I really dislike all flavored chips, except for sour cream & onion.

I like sour cream and onion
I like salt and vinegar

I dislike flaming hot anything
I dislike ketchup chips which many Canadians like
I dislike dill pickle chips
I dislike Lay’s Masala Magic
I dislike All Dressed lately

I used to like BBQ chips and BBQ Fritos, but I don’t lately.

I buy the 12 packs of mini cans of plain Pringles for my dining companions, which works fairly well in terms of their moderation.

Just based on the thread title - I was always under the impression that Pringles wouldn’t be considered (even from a legal standpoint) as potato chips based on their production process (not really made from potatoes directly etc)

anything ‘flavor blasted’ is on my avoid list.

Living in Vancouver for a year, I became acquainted with those particular Canadian flavors, like Ketchup, Pickle, and the abomination that is ‘all dressed’.

You all seem very proud of them (if that one episode of Letterkenny is to be believed), so I am happy that you have something that makes you (collectively, if not you, personally) happy. I will leave them for you and your countrymen to enjoy.

I’m not proud of them. I’ve always disliked ketchup chips. If they show up in a variety pack, they’re donated to the food bank same with the
dill pickle chips.

I will still eat All Dressed and Storm Chips if they’re free.

Some people like these flavours a lot. Sort of like how some Americans like ranch dressing a lot. I guess I know enough Americans to know it’s the minority of Americans who go out of their way for Ranch, but there’s enough of them that a big vat of Ranch with a pump is located next to the ketchup, mustard, and relish at fancy ski resort cafeterias.

counter-point: Flavor-Blasted white cheddar Pirate Booty is, in fact, superior to regular white cheddar Pirate Booty.

Anyone who does not agree that these are the best crisps in the world is dead to me.

Are they available outside the UK?
