End of year lists, get your end of year lists! 
I personally don’t ‘do’ cookbooks, owning several that are catching dust on my shelf — despite being Very Good Cookbooks, but maybe some of you are familiar with any of these, or are in the market for a new one.
I do love a cookbook but am also not “doing” cookbooks right now as I have, literally, hundreds and am downsizing my life at the moment . . . .
But - what struck me scrolling through the article was how different cookbook cover art is now (as opposed to a few years ago) and how similar the cover art is among most of those cookbooks, stylistically speaking.
I know, not anything to do with the list, quality of recipes, etc - but it was interesting to me.
I noticed that as well about the cover art. Most of them look like they were designed by the same person.
