Stubborn Poor Cookware Practice(s)?

I absolutely love my AllClad stainless steel skillets that I bought when my friend closed his kitchen shop. Sometimes I buy stuff at Winners/ Marshall’s type places when I see pieces on sale.

95 percent of my cooking is done in one of 2 stainless sauce pans (1 Lagostina brand, one not sure) , 1 of 2 All Clad Skillets, a 50 yo iron skillet, Corningware or Pyrex baking dishes. I don’t use any non-stick pans.

I did this to mine in my microwave. Just the lid, actually.

Did you crack it? I assume not, since a microwave does not transfer that much heat to t ceramic
