Thanks for the post @brisket44 ! I loved my visits to B. Patisserie every time I visited the area (before COVID). Love their Black Sesame Latte!

We had the chili con carne and pork verde tacos too, great homemade tortillas. All their stuff is great. Quick and casual so would be good as part of an Oakland food crawl.

They’re obviously known for their pastries but I never leave without picking up a baguette too.

My favorite spot on Sawtelle Hurry Curry was no longer there so spontaneously tried a new place called Menya Tigre which was not quite as good but still tasty and didn’t have the supermarket cube taste of Curryhouse and some others. Friendly folks and nice place to pop in for a light lunch! I’d go back.
looks sorta like Berlin’s chicken doner which is quite good…close? (but since i discovered dr sandwich i go there too)
The Keema noodles are pretty good.
