Hi: does anybody have any experience with solar stoves? I cannot stand cooking in my kitchen during the summer and therefore need an alternative in my backyard. I considered camping stove/oven combo powered by propane. However, I have weak arms and don’t want to keep buying propane and lugging the heavy containers from Home Depot to my house. Also, a solar stove is more earth friendly than propane one. I found this one which has pretty good reviews: All season solar stove

Sure. Niche use among sailing cruisers. Your latitude matters as does average cloud cover. Generally you can treat it as a slow cooker.
