Mine was just the famliest dog ever. 13 hour car ride through South Dakota, never had to pee. I could let him out in the morning and he’d be there when I got home at night. Needed to play 20 minutes every day, even up until the week before we ended.

Heaven sent. We already had a dog when my wife came home with Midnite as a pup. I was putting a roof on the house with some friends, and frankly, I was pssd. Well, we put him in a kennel in the kitchen, and there I slept by him all night, on the kitchen floor. By my side ever since. My older dog was a female and raised him like her own. Hs knew his boundaries, where to do his business. Had to swallow some crow there.

Got a kid with a Newfoundland. BIG boy. Got to the house and he’s right on your lap if you have a seat. Love the dog, though.

This is my girl, Soot. Sweetest dog i have ever known.
She passed in June. I still wake up and look for her at the foot of my bed.
