But dog is my co-pilot has a new meaning?
Cats gotta’ cat (and look totally innocent
And even if they DON’T look totally innocent…they don’t give a flying f*ck.
They know you’ll feed them anyway.
Aye, our rescue kitty “Danni” earned & keeps earning her nick name “Brat Kitty”. She’s calmed down quite a bit so The completely random swipes (with CLAWS OUT) a year later are only about once a week or so. She’s my wife’s cat, barely tolerates me but she knows when she’s being bad & runs for it if I have to get up.
They’re smarter than most people realize!
I’ve said to my various cats that they can be “evil little rat bastards…but I still love you.”
Only for the lysdexics among us.
Sorry, nope.
P.S. In Suthen English, the plural is “y’all’s all”.
Really? I’ve only ever heard or seen ‘all y’all’ for the plural.
OK, I really needed the subtitles, ‘cos my German 50 yrs out from studying is … nonexistent, but that was funny.
My question is why are Goo Gone and a canister of quick-cook Quaker Oats IN THE FRIDGE?
I can’t explain the Goo Gone, but the oats may be in the fridge by operation of an office rule. I know about an office that had a pest infestation of either rats or roaches (I can’t remember which), and the office manager decreed that ALL foodstuffs must be stored in the refrigerator. Even things like sealed packages (snack cakes, chips, pudding cups, etc.). I believe the OM knew how ridiculous the expansiveness of the policy was, but didn’t want to make any exceptions.
Partly in jest. Years ago someone circulated a word document listing with something like 15 variations of y’all and how it was used in different circumstances. It claimed “y’all” should be the singular. I tried to find that list but haven’t come up with it yet.
Cupboard moth and rodents make short shrift of sealed food packages. We’ve had moths chew through plastic bags and even thin, cheap plastic containers, and rodents gnaw just for the fun of it! We keep ALL FOODSTUFFS either in fridge, snap-top glass jars or metal storage cans. (Most of the time, we win.)
