I have three memories of Highway 71 to Austin.
The Wifeacita and I saw a herd of Longhorns. Contrary to popular belief they are not on every street corner next to the oil wells. I can count on one hand the times I’ve seen a herd.
No NDW seeing Bevo a million times does not constitute a herd.
A friend of mine and I saw the end of a rainbow in a field. The stupid leprechaun absconded with the gold before we could shoot it. This is Texas after all.
High school girlfriend and I were heading to Paleface Park, Hippie Hollow for a weekend of camping. Clothing is optional but strictly discouraged.
We’re driving on 71 and both are overwhelmed by raging hormones.
What follows isn’t our fault.
We couldn’t take the torture anymore so we pulled off into a field.
We might have removed some clothing and something might have happened on the trunk, since it was broad daylight others could have seen this. Oh well.
