For my next breakfast, I chose the well known Jia Jia Tang Bao for its famed xiao long baos.
I got the dozen tray for USD$9, with Half pork, half crab+pork. XLBs made to order. It felt so wrong to be able to eat breakfast this well for so little. Nicely done.

I passed by the well known Wujiang Road, which used to be an area where there was a lot of breakfast choices. It was redeveloped. There are still some decent choices here, but the area felt a bit sterile.
Some nearby shopping area marrying the traditional with the modern:
The nearby gigantic Starbucks Reserve Roastery. I didn’t go in to find out what’s different from the other Starbucks.
I then went to the Cool Docks area, which was an area which used to be docks and now redeveloped into hip boutiques and eateries. It was absolutely pouring. I was completely drenched.
Except that I didn’t have an updated guidebook so apparently a lot of the shops were shuttered already. The docks were very quiet.
