Between algae blooms and domoic acid, and whale migration…we’re doomed. The one plus is when crab season moves away from the holidays, locals get glut.
re: blue crabs in Italy, Adriatic, as I understand it the reaction is “Okay so we start eating them, a lot of them”, as they don’t have a natural predator in the region. My guess is they may be able to eat them into extinction.
