Schweid & Sons burger patties

Yep. Especially the blocks of preground beef. Useless …

That’s why they never let you see the actual beef/paste. Dass nasty.

Either way, I use real cheese on my cheeseburgers, unlike the ultimate “Eaglespoon burger.” I’m sure that would make mine garbage to him. I’ll tolerate vegetable oil fake cheese on a burger, but I much prefer a dairy fat based cheese. Prolly why I make mushroom and baby Swiss, which I’m sure is anathema to the un-garbagy Eaglespoon genious. I should note that I always handle any cheeses or meats with nitrile gloves.

I just perused the “Richard Eaglesppon” site at greater length. It’s time I’ll never get back, sadly. Maybe I’ll go grill a nitrile glove. I have boxes from my pandemic stash …

After reading and laughing at his stuff, I’d call it solid entertainment. Unintended humor , especially when intended to be serious, has always tickled me innards.

I liked the one on carrots, where, even in the photo, he’s wearing his, ultra-protective, nitrile gloves. Black ones, like we wear in jail. One badass Eaglespoon!

If those are as old as the pandemic, they are garbage, and must be replaced by fresh black nitrile ones.

I’d be sure Schweid & Sons uses great beef with great flavor. I just can’t, in good conscience, order meat to be delivered by some form of mail when I have a producer in easy walking distance at $3.00-$3.50/lb for any beef.

I shop for a good local source (farm) that sells their product in one family-owned chain, but they also have their own store (assuming I want to or can drive there) and actually sell on line. They dry age their meat before it even sees a retail outlet. They also supply local restaurants. Not prohibitively expensive by a long shot; if I want a special cut I just request it a few days in advance of when the grocery gets their side for the week, so they can cut it for me. The farm is I think primary in the breeding business. I’ve been doing this for years, before I even knew it was a “thing.”

Yeah, my guy only has 25 or so. No store, just walk up and grab out of the freezer.
