Green Haven is a Mennonite bakery with excellent old fashioned treats. Nice cinnamon buns, donuts, hand pies, traditional pies. This is the nicest bakery St Mary’s has had since Furtney’s closed 25+ years ago.

The Westover Inn Dining Room is closed until the spring.
I stopped by the Snapping Turtle today, for a coffee and a bagel. I plan to try their sandwiches soon.
The frozen beef and mushroom pie from The Flour Mill is rather expensive as meat pies go. It was a very good version.
The Flour Mill also sells frozen gnocchi made by Terroni in Toronto. The Flour Mill has a weekend brunch that I have not tried yet.
I stopped by The Flour Mill in St. Mary’s today.
It’s a café and gourmet shop that offers brunch on Sundays.
I picked up some frozen Terroni gnocchi and a house-made frozen beef and mushroom pie ($60, a large pie).
Brunch menu for another time.
