Forgot that Boston Mag printed this a couple of weeks ago. Not so much for the individual commentaries, more that it is a fairly complete list of all of the local bagel producers:

I suspect that multiple bagel bakers in the burbs got left off this list - Winchester alone has Bagel Bar, Brueggers, and Bagel n’ Brew….not saying that any of these would be on the Best of Boston list……but it would be interesting to see a complete list of every business inside 128 that produces their own bagels
Surprised Katz’s hasn’t been mentioned in this thread yet. The closest, by far, to NYC style bagels I’ve found in the Boston area. Good to see Rachel is hip to them.
I saw someone mention Montreal style. Bellemont Cafe in Belmont serves them up, if you like those. I’m not a huge fan, but I’ll eat them if they’re in front of me.
