Reading Posts

When you get a notification that there’s a new post, click on the number - that should auto-drive the thread down to the newest post. At least it does on my work computer, my Chromebook laptop, and my phone.

For instance:

When I clicked on the Silliness & food funnies 2025 highlighted at the bottom of my Unreads, it went to paryzer forking my post on that thread (which was 1022nd post out of 1025 total posts in the thread).

ETA - Never mind. I see it’s the iPhone that’s the issue. Sounds like the bacon strips is the way to go. Not that baconing all the time is a bad thing. Well, except maybe not as heart-healthy as it could be.

Houzz has the option to either read in chronological order or newest.

It maybe my internet speed., I am on satellite

I do not see a bacon strip.

You don’t see this at the top of your page?

It turns out bacon was the answer.

Which is as it always should be.:bacon::bacon::bacon:

It took me quite a few prompts to realize that was bacon!

SFBA Pizza post; i click and start with posts from May 2019. How can I go to the current post?

By pass over 260 posts I do not want to read. A 6 year old comment does not interest me. I do not wish to pan down through 260 posts.

SF area chinese has 29 posts, from Apr 2016, I would like to read the latest post.

The dates may be from my last view.

I give up

It is what it is.

Just click the last time stamp, as shown in the circled area. If that isn’t appearing for you, then I don’t know what else can be done at this point.

Thank-you for your suggestion. I tried multiple times, it did not work. I did not see/was unable to bring up the hand.

OK, did not see the hand when I clicked on the 2025 What are you listening to thread, but
I clicked on a reply arrow and went to the last post.

Tried again on the Tomato thread….I clicked on the date: Aug 6 and was taken to the last post.

Thanks for everyone’s help.
