Project Baking: A Mother's Day Tea, 2025

The floor can be dealt with later. I get the angst…because…

I walked into a temp job that I really needed after a lay-off. holding, and then dropping accidentally a triple espresso with extra ice…
i really wanted that espresso, and I really wanted not to drop it on the carpet of a temp job…

I am grateful it turned out ok!

My allergy relief regimen sounds much like yours. I learned to use a neti pot but my problem was that when feeling my worst, my foggy, aching head left me struggling to use my neti pot properly. Now I keep a bottle of commercial nasal saline spray handy instead. Two light sprays in each nostril then throughly blowing my nose helps to clear those nasty allergen particles.

Here’s to more energy for all the baking, cooking, and other fun stuff we’d rather do instead of slogging through spring allergies.

@mig, is there a line forming at your door to taste-test your baked goods? Because there should be. Everything looks amazing.
