Glad you enjoyed! I posted above that the dumplings are homemade in Chinatown and every week, the chef drives to the city and gets a huge tray for both the Sitting Duck and Pour House.
So which ones below do you think are from each place?
Yes I have cheeseburger photos on my phone. And yes, I’m getting help
Top and middle Pour House, bottom Duck
Awesome stuff!
Pour House, Duck, Barnacle’s.
Are you sure, like fershore?
No. I was wrong. Duck, Pour House, Barnacle’s. Now I’m sure.
Ok, you’re sure but are you fershore? (I’m sorry but I"m cracking myself up)
Well?
Went to the Pour House. They were out of the soft shell crab special. The French onion soup had frizzled onions–hardly traditional. The Salmon Teriyaki was pretty good. And they have switched to paper straws.
Number 1 is sitting duck
Middle is ph
Bottom is sitting duck
Note the different color and texture of the ph cheddar sauce. Also the texture is even different from one duck burger to other. The taste from the sauce is also different between the sd and ph versions
Dang I had it completely reversed.
Top - SD
Middle - PH
Bottom - SD
These things are always easier if you wait until after the answer is revealed
Who has the next food trivia?
went again this weekend- still maintain this is the best burger in the area. They have overtaken BB in my opinion and it’s not really close anymore.
I used to be a Main Street regular - then they stopped cleaning. I have since shifted over to the PH and have no regrets. It’s not as close but it’s small change.
I do agree with you - it’s now my go-go burger. A pint of Kane and a rare burger - heaven.
If only the French fries were real.
Promote the word! Everyone go to pourhouse. I am sick of not getting a bar seat at bb at anytime of the day.
Frankly, I’m sick of not getting bar seat at PH. I’m lucky to get seat with a post. LOL.
Key is to hit it 7:30-8pm after the early happy hour, then the bar stools open up.
I usually hit sd Monday to Thursday. I can normally get a seat. On weekends ph is tough too. I just can’t get a seat at bb, which is a much smaller bar than sd.
