Oh man, those aren’t even in the Polish shops near me (nor the Morrisons closest to me). I’m going to have to do a better search because those look nice. Then again, maybe I could just sauté some mushrooms and eat them with soured cream and crisps?
Meanwhile, I’d ask my Romanian friends to bring me crisps but I far prefer when they gift me Romanian wine.

A gift basket I received at Xmas included a can of truffle potato chips.
I didn’t think the truffle improved the chips. They weren’t terrible. I can’t remember if I finished them.
I probably wouldn’t pay for the sour cream and mushroom flavoured chips because of my truffle chip disappoinment.
I like sour cream and onion chips.
@medgirl out of the typical Central and Eastern Europe chip selection, I like Paprika chips a lot.

They had paprika chips in stock as well in the Eastern European section.
These aren’t very upmarket chips - if they still have them in stock next time I’m there I might get a bag to check what the flavour is really like.

Just buy some sour cream chips and sprinkle some dried mushroom powder on it
Seen at Aldi today. Hard no on either.

I would be curious about the Cuban sandwich one - take one for the team
By the time I’m at Aldi next, they’ll likely be gone (they were already marked down and near the register where unsold things go.
I also don’t care enough for potato chips to try random flavors. I’d much rather have an actual Cubano

congee
Congee would be, um, kind of bland. Styrofoam would be jealous.

Congee was a wild guess, I’ve never had it, but I’m guessing its whatever you add to it that makes it tasty, yes?
Yes, sort of like oatmeal.
You can make it savory, sweet, both, or neither and eat as-is.
It’s a critical component of the Chinese version of the American BRAT diet for upset stomachs.
