I’m making chicken thighs with similar seasoning to this recipe tonight, using an imported Piri Piri oil instead of the Fresno peppers.
A more traditional Portuguese peri peri chicken tends to have less ingredients, and no lemon! I didn’t know that!

Fried Green Beans / Peixinhos de Horta
I made roasted potatoes with olive oil, bay leaf and paprika tonight, ingredients inspired by this recipe, but cooked how we like them
also, Piri Piri chicken thighs
and slow-cooked green beans with the Portuguese spices of cumin and nutmeg from this recipe, minus the meat, slow cooked in a Greek way, but I would think the same method is used in Portugal.
