I LOVE popcorn, especially buttered popcorn.
I also think it’s a combination of the type of popcorn used, and the amount of steam trapped in the pot. I have been very happy with my Whilygig popper for stovetop use. I have an induction range, so I can’t shake a pot on the stove.
I usually use the Orville Redenbacher kernals that I get from the supermarket. As long as it’s a fresh batch, I’ve found them to have few hulls, few unpopped kernals and it tastes great!
