Dear God! Bread and water would be preferable. I like a morning cup of sweet coffee, but I don’t eat out of the sugar bowl …
Ginger ale … as much as you want …
Sending prayers your way Linda. While making WFD .
Yay to Linda! Keep up the good thoughts, we’ll keep sending them to you!
Linda - this is scary stuff, but thanks for the info you shared. I so hope you make a full and quick recovery, and are reunited with your kitties soon. Take care.
@LindaWhit hope your recovery is continuing apace and that breakfast was good again today!
@linguafood Any news on @LindaWhit ??
Just thinking about her and hoping she had a good day.
She’s doing alright. Her 3rd stent procedure was moved to tomorrow, bc they had to much ish going on today. If everything goes well she might be released tomorrow
Thanks again, all!
Thank you!!
Keeping fingers crossed. My kitties are on standby.
Morning all. My 3rd stent is scheduled for 11ish today. I’ll be Loopy Linda after the procedure, so lots of sleep as I come out of the drug-enduced stupor.
Provided everything goes well, I wont be released until Saturday. Will have a session with PT tomorrow to see how I do on stairs (since I live in a townhouse). My sister and BIL have beeen prepping my house so I have what I need on the main living level without having to go up/downstairs too much.
A coworker came to visit yesterday. She said “Yeah, you’re not allowed back for at least a week, maybe more!” So I’ll be resting at home with maybe a little work, provided I can get my laptop to do some required year-end HR stuff.
I’m on ice chips until the procedure is done.
Cant wait until I’m home.
Hope everything goes smoothly and you getting lots of rest and catching up with the boyz!
All best wishes for between now and then.
John
Hang in there, Linda! I hope the time passes quickly. Do you have a laptop or device for streaming movies? I am building a list of my favorites for cold weather/holiday viewing.
Good luck!! Kitties are waiting!
So glad to hear you’ll be released tomorrow! Hope everything goes swimmingly & you can be back home with your kitties
Sending good thoughts your way. Once you get home, make sure you take it easy!
Thanks for the update Linda! Sending get-well wishes your way.
As the, uh, proud owner of three stents myself (two were for 90% blockages, the other only 50%), I’m happy to tell you that life gets back to normal pretty quickly. Modern medicine can be quite modern these days. Fair winds!
My PIC also had to have 3 stents put in in 2013, and is doing fabulously. Hoping the same for Linda
