Palak Paneer

I’ve seen this mentioned here many times; also queso blanco and farmer’s cheese, which is the basic category, I guess. Maybe because every supermarket chain or independent around here carries it, and often more than one brand. There are ‘artisanal’ products that are much better than the major shrink-wrapped products.

Never made palak paneer but have made Chilli Paneer using queso fresco :cowboy_hat_face:.

Queso panela would also probably work in a saag paneer application, I think.

You asked if you could make it in your Post.

Yes I get that it can be made with Spinach.
The strange part about the Recipe you linked is that it nothing like any Saag Recipe I have ever seen or been served.

Indeed. And asked specifically about making palak paneer because it was “one of his favorites,” but later tells us that he doesn’t like paneer. To which I’d say, fine, if you like spanakopita then make spanakopita.

Thanks… made one last night using queso fresco… you need to cube it carefully, and go easy stirring into the spinach, but was very happy with the result.

I gotta say, this is one of the funniest things I’ve read today.
