Hubba’s Real Pit BBQ truck is Westford returned for the season in June. The founder’s son is continuing the legacy of his father, who passed away unexpectedly this past winter. These nice folks have deservedly earned a local following.
Theirs is a lunchtime business (Wednesday-Saturday, 11:00-3:00 or earlier close if they sell out). My usual order is a pint of beef brisket to reheat for dinner(s) later. Yesterday I picked up a rack of pork ribs for the first time.
Great bark on these and rich meat. I’m guessing the ribs hold their lusciousness better because the membrane on the bottom of the ribs wasn’t removed? Comes off very easily at the table though.
Note: Hubba’s is closed for vacation this 4th of July week and they return on July 10, 2024. I find that their Facebook page is the best place to check for any schedule updates.
