I’ve been on the Lao Gan Ma bandwagon for a while. I still say that all you need to make very good Sichuan noodles are these two things:
If you can’t find the one on the left, it’s mostly white pepper and msg.
But I have found my new favorite chilli oil concoction and, like that Frank’s Red Hot commercial, I put that $hit on everything. I found it by accident and now I can’t live without it.
Get this now! ( I have no stock in S & B - although I do like their curry )

Better late than never, and you might not want to get off the bandwagon!
More ideas for uses here:
OK, so a jar of this stuff was delivered by Father Christmas, along with some other East Asian food products. I know the other stuff but have never come across this before. Anyone know it - and can advise what I might be doing with it?

I bought the S&B at h-mart on a lark a while back - it’s twice as much at my local japanese stores!
