I believe that was me and the place was Bill Williams in Houston and we’d go back in the 60s. It was tough to decide between fried tenderloin of speckled trout or fried chicken having not yet discovered the culinary qualities of the noble oysters.

The LA library used to have an online page where you could see lots of old menus. I looked for it but could only find this look-up index page.

My father in law was a chef at the Copa and somewhere on HO I posted one of his menus - no idea where!!! I’ll have to re-scan it!

Joe Gilbert was a KC Restauranteur and the airport at that time was a stop in the middle on cross country TWA flights so all the famous folks.
The Mexican place is the very first place I can remember eating at, so 2 or so.
Not sure a place could get away with a Ladies Plate these days.
